TNT to Host Network TV Premiere of Captain Marvel

TNT is set to air the network television premiere of the Marvel Studios blockbuster Captain Marvel, which stars Brie Larson in the titular role.

Captain Marvel will air on TNT on January 10. Over the weekend leading up to the premiere, TNT will run a DC movie marathon that will feature Justice League, Suicide Squad, Batman Begins, Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel.

Captain Marvel sees the extraterrestrial Kree warrior find herself in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she has recurring memories of another life as Carol Danvers, a U.S. Air Force pilot. With help from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the Skrulls. In addition to Larson and Jackson, the film stars Ben Mendelsohn, Jude Law, Anette Bening, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch and Gemma Chan.
