TNT Acquires Three Seasons of Lucifer

The first three seasons of the hit Warner Bros. Television/DC drama Lucifer have been picked up by TNT.

Based on DC characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, the series sees the lord of hell retire to Los Angeles and team up with an LAPD detective to take down criminals. TNT will air three episodes every Wednesday.

Tom Ellis stars as Lucifer, while Lauren German plays detective Chloe Decker. Additional cast from the first three seasons are Kevin Alejandro (Southland, True Blood), DB Woodside (Suits, 24), Lesley-Ann Brandt (The Librarians), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Aimee Garcia (The George Lopez Show), Scarlett Estevez (Daddy’s Home), Tom Welling (Smallville) and Rachael Harris (The Hangover).

Lucifer was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Warner Bros. Television. Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Joe Henderson, Ildy Modrovich, Len Wiseman, Sheri Elwood and KristieAnne Reed were executive producers of the series, which was developed by Tom Kapinos.
