How to Kill a Client, a dark comedy from Easy Tiger Productions, is the third project selected for the Dynamic Television Scripted Initiative.

Screen Australia and Dynamic Television previously announced an initiative to co-fund development on up to four scripted television projects throughout 2024/25. How to Kill a Client is the third project to receive A$100,000 in development funding through the initiative.

How to Kill a Client, from the outfit behind Colin from Accounts and The Twelve, is written by Sarah Dollard (Bridgerton), Scout Cripps (The Undertow) and Michael Lucas (The Newsreader). The series will be produced by Ian Collie and Rob Gibson, with Catherine Millar attached as director.

Louise Gough, Screen Australia’s director of narrative content, said, “On paper, How to Kill a Client draws audiences into a compelling whodunnit structure with laughs and mysteries at every turn. We are proud to support this project and its strong creative team alongside Dynamic Television, as it showcases the breadth of talent among Australian screen partitioners.”

Carrie Stein, Dynamic’s president of global scripted television, added: “How to Kill a Client is a razor-sharp, darkly funny series with a knockout creative team behind it. From the first read, we were drawn to its twisted take on ambition, loyalty, and moral gray zones of corporate world. This is exactly to kind of bold, character- driven storytelling the Scripted initiative was designed to support, and we’re thrilled to help bring it to life for global audiences.”

The previously announced projects are Fox Hunt and Dark Mode.
