Caroline Hollick has been named senior VP of international production and development at The North Road Company.

Hollick boards from Channel 4, where she oversaw shows such as Russell T Davies’s It’s a Sin, Pete Jackson’s drama Somewhere Boy and more. In her new role, Hollick will focus on identifying fresh voices and top creative talent for North Road to collaborate with in the U.K. and other European markets.

Hollick is one of several creative executives who have recently joined North Road, further strengthening the company’s leadership team, which oversees a slate of over 80 active productions.

Amy Israel, president of North Road, and Jan Frouman, president of international, commented, “Caroline is a skilled creative executive with exceptional taste, instincts and relationships. She has forged connections and partnerships with world-class talent, often across borders, to make shows that are both critical and commercial hits. As a global television studio, North Road is excited to have someone of Caroline’s caliber and passion for storytelling based in the U.K. We look forward to supporting Caroline as she dives back into the U.K. market and generates more global opportunities for local creative talent to share their stories.”

Hollick added, “I am beyond excited to join North Road. I appreciate that they have met this moment in our business with optimism, an entrepreneurial spirit and a continued commitment to working with world-class voices. I am excited to harness my talent relationships in the U.K. and Europe to further North Road’s global ambitions.”
