Channel 4 Renews Patience

Eagle Eye Drama’s Patience has secured a second season on Channel 4 after season one landed 4.2 million viewers earlier this year.

Channel 4’s biggest drama of 2025 so far will bring in Jessica Hynes for season two, with Ella Maisy Purvis returning for the titular role.

Series two promises to be even more action-packed, culminating with a nail-biting hostage storyline and a shocking family revelation for Patience.”

Patience is adapted from the original series Astrid & Raphaëlle, produced by JLA Productions for France TV. It is being produced in association with Happy Duck Films and is supported by the Belgian Tax Shelter. PBS Distribution holds the North American rights to Patience, with Beta Film representing internationally.
