The CW Adds New eOne Titles

The CW has added to its lineup two Canadian series from Entertainment One (eOne): The Spencer Sisters and Moonshine.

The Spencer Sisters stars Lea Thompson and Stacey Farber as a mother-daughter duo who run a private detective agency. It was commissioned by CTV. Moonshine, with a cast that includes Jennifer Finnigan, is about the fight for control of a family-owned business. It is an original series for CBC.

The deal continues a partnership between eOne and The CW that has seen the U.S. broadcast network air Family Law and Burden of Truth, among others. “We’re delighted to expand upon our long-standing relationship with The CW network, which has and continues to be a terrific partner and the perfect U.S. home for these compelling series to U.S. audiences,” commented Stuart Baxter, president of international distribution at eOne.

“We’re excited to bring these two entertaining series to The CW and expand our successful partnership with eOne,” commented Kevin Levy, executive VP of program planning, scheduling and acquisitions at The CW.
