The Birth of Daniel F Harris Cast Unveiled

Lewis Gribben, Samuel Bottomley, Lisa McGrillis and Rory Keenan have joined the cast of Channel 4’s upcoming coming-of-age drama The Birth of Daniel F Harris.

The 8×30-minute production, penned by Pete Jackson, is being produced by Clerkenwell Films, the outfit behind The End of the F***ing World and Misfits, in association with BBC Studios, which is handling international distribution.

Gribben (Deadwater Fell) stars as Danny, whose mother was killed in a car accident when he was a baby. Rory Keenan (War & Peace) stars as Danny’s father, Steve, who kept his son isolated for years, telling him the world outside was full of monsters waiting to take him away. When Danny turns 18 he is sent to live with his aunt Sue, played by McGrillis (Deadwater Fell, No Offence) and cousin Aaron, played by Samuel Bottomley (Everyone’s Talking About Jamie).
