FX’s award-winning series The Bear has been renewed for a third season exclusively for Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the U.K.

Season one of the series is currently nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, including outstanding comedy series. The third season will continue the storyline of season two, which saw the original sandwich joint transform into a next-level restaurant as the crew undertook transformational journeys of their own.

Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are among those who will reprise their roles.

The Bear, produced by FX Productions, was created by Christopher Storer (Ramy, Eighth Grade), who also serves as executive producer, alongside Joanna Calo (BoJack Horseman, Undone), Hiro Murai (Atlanta, Station Eleven) of Super Frog, Josh Senior and Matty Matheson. Tyson Bidner (Ramy) is a producer.

The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” said Nick Grad, president of FX Entertainment. “We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu and Disney+ join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear.”
