Swedish Crime Thriller Honour Set as Viaplay Original

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has revealed Honour, an eight-part crime thriller series, as its latest original production.

Honour (Swedish title Heder) follows four partners of a Swedish law firm who view defending victims of injustice as more than a job. However, the lawyers themselves are hiding the darkest secret of all.

The series stars Alexandra Rapaport (Gåsmamman), Anja Lundqvist (ALEX), Julia Dufvenius (Modus) and Eva Röse (Maria Wern). Honour is created by Rapaport, Lundqvist and Dufvenius together with Sofia Helin (The Bridge). Birgitta Wännström (Maria Wern, Gåsmamman) produces for the Swedish production company Bigster.

Eccho Rights is handling international distribution.

Jakob Mejlhede Andersen, NENT Group’s executive VP and head of content, said: “This has been a record-breaking year so far for NENT Group’s originals. We’ve created, premiered and sold more series than ever before, and productions such as The Lawyer and Rig 45 have smashed viewing records on Viaplay. And we’re just getting started. Our pipeline of unique Nordic stories is unrivaled, and the dark thrills of Honour will be a highlight of our slate in 2019.”
