STV Studios Taps Tiger Aspect’s Sara Hamill

Blue Lights producer STV Studios has appointed Sara Hamill as director of production, working across STV Studios Drama, Tod Productions and Two Cities Television.

Hamill has been working as director of production across the drama slate for Tiger Aspect and its Fifty Fathoms subsidiary since 2018. Her credits include the fifth season of Peaky Blinders (BBC/Netflix), the historical drama Domina (Sky Atlantic/MGM+), two seasons of The Good Karma Hospital (ITV), The A Word (BBC), Adult Material (Channel 4) and Three Little Birds (ITV).

Prior to this, Hamill was head of production at Urban Myth Films for four years, where she worked on Channel 4/Netflix co-pro Crazyhead and both seasons of the BBC fantasy adventure Atlantis.

She’s led production on some of the biggest, most culturally relevant shows of recent years, and we’re thrilled that she’s bringing her vast experience and brilliant eye for detail to the STV Studios family.
