Spanish Period Drama Cathedral of the Sea Sells into Italy

Endemol Shine International has landed a deal with Mediaset Italy for the hit Spanish period drama series Cathedral of the Sea.

Based on the best-selling novel by Ildefonso Falcones, Cathedral of the Sea (La Catedral del Mar) is an epic series set in 14th-century Barcelona, one of its most prosperous times. The award-winning Spanish-language series debuted on Antena 3 in May 2018 and launched globally on Netflix last year.
