Viaplay Readies Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter U.S. Debut

The fantasy series Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter is set to bow in the U.S. on November 21 on the Viaplay streaming service.

The series, which will be subtitled and dubbed in English, is from Hans Rosenfeldt (The Bridge, Marcella) and is based on the classic fantasy adventure book by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren, who also wrote the Pippi Longstocking book series. Produced by Filmlance for Viaplay, the coming-of-age story follows the adventures of a spirited, rebellious girl who is born into a band of robbers.
