Reginald the Vampire Sells to More Broadcasters

Cineflix Rights has landed a new round of international sales for the supernatural drama Reginald the Vampire.

The series has been acquired by Sky for the U.K. and Ireland, as well as by NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer for its science-fiction channels SYFY in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Switzerland and SCIFI in Poland and the Balkans. AMC Networks International picked up the show for Latin America.

Starring Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Reginald the Vampire is produced by Great Pacific Media, Modern Story, December Films, and Cineflix Studios for SYFY in the U.S., where it will make its debut this month.

James Durie, head of scripted at Cineflix Rights, said: “We’ve had a lot of interest from buyers in Reginald the Vampire since its launch at MIPTV, so I’m really pleased to announce these first international sales in advance of its launch on SYFY. The series really delivers on its promise to provide viewers with a wild ride and lots of laughs as it cleverly plays with existing vampire clichés. With more deals in the pipeline, I’m sure it will be a great success.”
