Pasiones Picks Up Korean Fantasy Drama for U.S., LatAm

The Spanish-language Pasiones channel has acquired the rights for the U.S. and Latin American premieres of the Korean series W: Two Worlds.

The Korean fantasy drama made its Latin American debut on August 15 and will premiere in the U.S. on August 21. It tells the story of a young woman who discovers her father, a famous comic book author, has mysteriously gone missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon series W. She finds a note in his office and gets pulled into his computer screen, from which she enters a scene from the webtoon. From there, she collides with the comic’s hero.

W: Two Worlds achieved an average audience share of 15 percent during its broadcast in South Korea. The series will be running on Pasiones Monday through Friday.
