Tokyo Broadcasting System Television (TBS) has secured remake option deals for two series, Forget Love and Tower of Sand, with the Turkish producer Fabrika Yapım.

Forget Love features a romance between a cold-hearted but successful host and a blind young woman who has closed her heart due to a lack of affection from her father. The title has been adapted in South Korea. This marks the second option contract for Forget Love in Turkey.

Tower of Sand is an original suspense drama about a housewife who moves into a high-rise apartment controlled by celebrities with their own rules, a mysterious neighbor who eerily watches the protagonist and a series of mysterious infant disappearances happening around her.

Öner Arslanel, CEO of Fabrika Yapım, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with TBS and look forward to building a long-term partnership. We see Forget Love and Tower of Sand as the first of many joint projects we will work on with TBS this year. We believe these powerful, female-driven narratives will resonate deeply with audiences in our country, and we are eager to bring many more inspiring stories to Turkish viewers in the near future together.”

Ceren Ergenekon, managing partner of HECE Medya, which brokered the deal, added, “TBS offers a wealth of impactful content that we look forward to bringing to Turkey. We believe that Fabrika Yapım’s unique storytelling vision, paired with TBS’s expertly crafted narratives, will be a perfect fit for both Turkish and international audiences. We are thrilled to unite these two creative forces in this collaboration.”

Jun Fukai, general manager of the global business development department at TBS, said, “We are very pleased that the contract with Fabrika Yapım has been concluded through HECE Medya. We are very excited to see the local versions of TBS’s popular series broadcast in Turkey.”
