Outcast Delivers for FOX Internationally

LOS ANGELES: The international premiere of Outcast drew a record 26 million views across its linear broadcast on FOX outside of the U.S., in addition to its social media and online release.

Outcast, which marks the latest from The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, launched its ten-episode first season worldwide in more than 125 countries on June 3. In Europe, for example, consolidated viewership added 11.2 million views to the international total and set new performance records in several countries.

In the Asia Pacific, Outcast was seen by more than 3.6 million views. Pan-regionally across Latin America, the show was the most successful launch of a new series on the group’s premium pay service FOX+, delivering a 22-percent audience share. Across all windows, Latin America contributed 11.3 million views to the international total.

The full first episode of Outcast was also made available to stream for free two weeks ahead of the series’ linear premiere on Facebook, YouTube and the FOX-owned authenticated streaming service FOX Play, drawing a total of 18.7 million views.
