Open Casting Call for New Baywatch Series

FOX Entertainment and Fremantle will be holding an open casting call for the new FOX reboot of Baywatch in February.

“The Baywatch open casting call gives actors a rare opportunity to join the team of an iconic global sensation that celebrates the California spirit and helped define LA’s incomparable beach culture,” said Michael Thorn, president of FOX Television Network. “We’re excited to discover fresh faces with authentic SoCal energy as we bring back Baywatch for a new generation of fans.”

The casting call is searching for actors to fill a wide range of roles, from lifeguards and beachgoers to bartenders, buddies and love interests. It will take place on February 18 at the Marina Del Rey Marriott in California. Performers are encouraged to arrive with a wardrobe that evokes a beach setting while remaining professional and avoiding overly revealing styles and costumes.

Baywatch is scheduled to begin shooting this March on L.A.’s Venice Beach and on the FOX Studio Lot in Century City. It is set to premiere during FOX’s 2026-27 season.

Baywatch first hit screens in 1989, becoming the most-watched show in the world, airing in over 200 countries and, at its peak, reaching more than a billion viewers every week.
