OneGate Media to Distribute SRF Crime Thriller

OneGate Media, an ARD subsidiary, has picked up the global distribution rights to the SRF crime thriller series Blind from Zodiac Pictures, based on novels by Christine Brand.

“This series, like Brand’s novels, is truly ‘made in Switzerland’—and packed with twists and turns, intriguing characters and psychological depth,” said Jessica Hefti, producer at Zodiac Pictures. “At the heart of this series is the character of Nathaniel and his visual impairment, adding a unique and powerful element to the story. We’re delighted to partner with OneGate Media, and with their expertise, we’re confident this series will captivate audiences around the world.”

Blind was created by Plinio Bachmann, co-directed by Christian Johannes Koch and Barbara Kulcsar and produced by Zodiac Pictures. Blind will premiere on SRF in Switzerland in late 2026, and a second season is already in development.

Blind follows Nathaniel, a visually impaired bartender who shows up at a police station in the middle of the night, covered in blood, claiming that a pregnant woman has been kidnapped from his bar. When investigators find signs of a struggle but no trace of the victim, Inspector Bandini quickly identifies Nathaniel as the prime suspect.
