BBC Studios Productions Taps Jamie Hall as Scripted MD

BBC Studios Productions has named Jamie Hall, currently president of Vice Studios UK, as managing director for scripted, effective in January.

Hall will be tasked with aligning content strategy with market dynamics, optimizing rights and funding models and ensuring BBC Studios’ scripted division remains a leading supplier. He will work closely with BBC Studios’ creative leads to win new commissions, maintain editorial excellence and deepen partnerships with global buyers.

He brings over three decades of experience from across the U.K. and international scripted production landscape. He has held senior leadership roles at Vice Media, Pulse Films, Big Light Productions, Eleven Film, Lime Pictures and the BBC. He has overseen both scripted and non-scripted content, with credits on Gangs of London, Atomic, Medici: Masters of Florence, The Man in the High Castle, Glue and Gap Year, as well as U.K. classics such as Hollyoaks and Grange Hill.
