Nucleus Media Rights has appointed Isabelle Pechou as VP of creative and development for dramas.

Pechou joins Nucleus Media Rights from the Danish shingle REinvent Studios, where she served as senior co-productions and sales manager and was creative producer on the Faroese-language TV series TROM. Her other previous positions include co-productions manager at TrustNordisk, acquisitions executive and fiction-scouting manager at French pubcaster France Télévisions and founder of the consultancy company The Drama Agency.

“We have exciting projects in the pipeline, shaped by English-speaking talents experienced or on the rise, that dare to question our societies,” said Pechou. “In the past, present and future. I can’t wait to pour my international experience into British shows that are one of my ultimate references.”

Bruno Zarka, CEO of Nucleus Media Rights, added: “It’s a thrill to be welcoming such great talent as Isabelle at Nucleus Media Rights. She will bring her unique, strong vision and experience to our drama series to engage characters, stories and universes penned by outstanding talents such as Brendan Foley (Body of Water, co-produced with ZDFE and 3Zero2) and Morgan Gendel (Kingfountain, TBA).”
