BAFTA Award nominee Dominique Fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah, Show Me a Hero) is set to star alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the new Apple TV+ limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.

In the series, Fishback will star as Robyn, a friend of the family who helps Ptolemy (Jackson), a 91-year-old man with dementia who is forgotten by his family, his friends and even himself. Ramin Bahrani is on board to direct and executive produce The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, which is based on the novel by Walter Mosley.

Produced by Apple Studios, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will be adapted for the screen by Mosley. Jackson will also serve as executive producer on the project alongside director Bahrani. David Levine and Eli Selden will executive produce the project for Anonymous Content, along with Diane Houslin and Mosley. LaTanya Richardson Jackson will also executive produce.
