Netflix Renews Jason Bateman Drama Ozark

Netflix has renewed the original series Ozark for season two, which will have ten new episodes.

The series centers on financial planner Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) and their family’s sudden relocation from the suburbs of Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. Bateman also serves as executive producer and director on the money-centric drama.

The series is produced by Bateman’s Aggregate Films in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix, and it was created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, who are also executive producers.
