Naveen Andrews Joins FOX’s The Cleaning Lady

Naveen Andrews (The Dropout, Lost) is set to star as a series regular in the second season of The Cleaning Lady, slated to debut on September 19 on FOX.

Season two furthers the theme of how far a mother will go to protect her child and continues to examine the plight of undocumented immigrants and their difficulties accessing necessary healthcare and resources. Andrews joins as Robert Kamdar, Nadia’s charming ex-lover.

Guest stars for season two include Chelsea Frei (The Moodys) and Liza Weil (How to Get Away with Murder).

The Cleaning Lady originally premiered on FOX in January 2022. Its debut episode, with 12.9 million multiplatform viewers, was FOX’s most-watched drama debut in two years, its most-watched Monday debut in more than two years and the most-streamed FOX debut on Hulu in network history.

Based on an Argentinean series, The Cleaning Lady is produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment. It was developed by Miranda Kwok (The 100). Kwok and Melissa Carter (Queen Sugar) serve as showrunners and executive producers. Shay Mitchell (You, Pretty Little Liars), David Dean Portelli, Rose Marie Vega and Paola Suarez are also executive producers.
