Minor Offence Sees Raft of Sales

About Premium Content (APC) has landed the first round of deals for the French-language crime drama Minor Offence, produced by Alva Film and Hélicotronc for the RTS Swiss public broadcaster.

MHz (U.S.), TV5MONDE, CANAL+ Group’s POLAR+ (France), Paramount+ (France), blue Play (German-speaking Switzerland) and RTP (Portugal) have licensed the drama. The 6×52-minute series is written by Jacqueline Surchat, Marco Rivard and Nicole Borgeat, who also directs.

Minor Offence sees Judge Gabrielle, youth worker Anaïs and police inspector Kadi deal with rebellious and struggling youngsters, fighting tirelessly to help them take control of their destiny. When a girl is found dead and clues quickly point to Marek, a petty criminal already on their radar, the complex investigation confronts these three women with a series of teenagers all linked to the case.

Laurent Boissel and Emmanuelle Guilbart, joint CEOs and co-founders at APC Studios, said: “Minor Offence is an intriguing, realistic crime drama which pits two generations against each other on a nuanced but hopeful plot. The writing and on-screen talent, both seasoned and young, is incredible, and we are excited that the series has already started making its way to a global audience.”
