Mass Effect Series in Development with Amazon MGM Studios

Amazon MGM Studios is in development on a TV series based on the best-selling sci-fi video game franchise Mass Effect from Electronic Arts (EA).

Daniel Casey (10 Cloverfield Lane) is attached as writer and executive producer. Karim Zreik and Cedar Tree Productions are also on board under an overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios.

Ari Arad and EA’s Michael Gamble will serve as executive producers as well.

The military sci-fi franchise depicts a distant future where humanity and several alien civilizations have colonized the galaxy using technology left behind by advanced precursor civilizations.
