The Spanish prison thriller series Locked Up (Vis a vis) is set to premiere on Hulu Japan per an agreement between the streaming service and Imagina International Sales.

Produced by Globomedia for Atresmedia, and for FOX in its last two seasons, Locked Up will be available on the platform from April 23. The deal makes Locked Up the first Spanish series to air on Hulu Japan. It will be offered in English with subtitles, and a dubbed version will be available to viewers as well.

The show’s pilot will also be broadcast on Nippon TV as part of its program “Hulu Episode-1 Theatre.” It broadcasts free to air in the U.K. and on Amazon Prime in the U.S.

The drama series, known in Spain as Vis a vis, stars Najwa Nimri and Maggie Civantos, with the fourth season bringing in Benjamín Vicuña and rapper Mala Rodríguez. It follows a naïve young woman who, after being set up by her lover, finds herself locked up in a high-security women’s prison surrounded by a cast of unsavory characters.
