Eccho Rights has sealed several Latin American deals on its hit Turkish drama Golden Boy.

The drama has secured new placements in the U.S. Hispanic market and Paraguay (Telefuturo), Mexico (Imagen) and Panama (Telemetro and RPC). The show previously sold to Mega in Chile. It has now been licensed into more than 40 markets worldwide, including the Middle East and Africa, Finland and Sweden.

“Buyers are queueing up for what is the biggest Turkish drama sensation we have seen for many years,” said Barbora Suster, the head of Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights. “With several more deals in late-stage negotiations, we expect to have at least a dozen LatAm countries closed following L.A. Screenings.”

Among the top dramas on air in Turkey, Golden Boy is produced by OGM Pictures for Star TV.
