The drama series Voice, produced by Studio Dragon and broadcast on CJ ENM’s OCN channel in Korea, is set for a remake in Thailand.

Thailand’s national channel, True4U, is remaking the drama, scheduled to be launched in November. Andrew Gregson and Khemanit Jamikorn have been cast for the lead roles for the adaptation.

The Japanese remake, Voice: Emergency Control Room 110, was broadcast in mid-July and recorded a viewer rating of 12.6 percent for its first episode.

The broadcast and VOD rights for the three seasons of the original Voice have been sold in 56 countries around Asia, Europe and North America.

Broadcast for the first time in Korea in 2017, Voice is a thriller that depicts the lives of members of the emergency call center, who solve violent crimes and track down criminals, using the sounds they hear over the phone as their only clues.

Jinnie Choi, the CEO of Studio Dragon, said, “All works by Studio Dragon can be enjoyed by viewers all around the world through global platforms, including TV, VOD services and Netflix.”
