Kanal D Inks African Deal

ISTANBUL: Kanal D has signed an agreement with Ethiopian broadcaster Kana TV for two of its hit Turkish dramas.

Kuzey Guney and Fatmagul, each consisting of 80 90-minute episodes, were hits for Kanal D domestically and have been among the broadcaster’s biggest international sellers. Kanal D has now expanded the reach of its Turkish dramas to more than 140 markets.

Kana TV was launched in Ethiopia as a free-to-air entertainment channel by Kabul-based MOBY Media Group.
