Kanal D has renewed Chrysalis, a Turkish drama series produced by OGM Pictures, for a third season.

The series, which launched in Turkey in April 2021, is currently airing its second season on Kanal D. Since its debut, Chrysalis has been licensed to broadcasters in more than 40 territories around the world, including Spain, South Africa, a raft of Eastern European territories and throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Chrysalis centers on Nalan, a young, beautiful and innocent woman who has never experienced romance and who has always dreamt of meeting a Prince Charming. After meeting Sedat, Nalan thinks her fairy-tale life can finally begin, but she soon realizes that the world she stepped into is not the one she had envisioned as she chases the secrets of her past while forging her future.

Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama at Eccho Rights, which distributes Chrysalis, said: “In the highly competitive premium Turkish drama market, a third-season commission is rare, and therefore testament to the quality of Chrysalis, a series with beautiful production values that is well written and has stunning performances from its central cast.”
