Japan’s U-NEXT Scores Showtime Package for Streaming

Showtime dramas such as Your Honor and City on a Hill will be made available for streaming on U-NEXT, Japan’s leading OTT player.

ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group reached a deal with U-NEXT for a selection of new series from Showtime. Among the offerings are Your Honor, starring Bryan Cranston; City on a Hill, featuring Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge; The First Lady (working title), which will feature dramatizations of Michelle Obama and other historical figures; and the sci-fi action series Halo, based on the video game franchise.
