ION Inks Deal with eOne for The Detail

ION Television has signed an agreement with Entertainment One (eOne) for the exclusive U.S. TV rights for current and future seasons of the procedural crime drama The Detail.

Production on the ten-episode first season is currently underway. The Detail is produced by ICF Films with eOne in association with Canadian broadcaster CTV. It stars Shenae Grimes-Beech (90210) as street-smart Detective Jacqueline ‘Jack’ Cooper, who has keen investigative skills but a messy personal life. Angela Griffin (Coronation Street) stars as Detective Stevie Hall, a sharp, quick-witted interrogator who is Jack’s mentor. Wendy Crewson (Saving Hope) plays Staff Inspector Fiona Currie, the homicide unit’s formidable boss.
