Hugh Laurie Thriller Lands at Apple TV+

The Wanted Man starring Hugh Laurie, from New Pictures and Observatory Pictures, has landed at Apple TV+ with an eight-episode order.

Hailing from Hijack creator George Kay, the series also stars Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan and Stephen Dillane.

The series follows Felix Carmichael (Laurie), the head of a notorious British crime syndicate who is finally apprehended and held in the infamous Staplehurst prison as he plots a daring escape.

The Wanted Man is created, written and executive produced by Kay, alongside producer Willow Grylls and Matt Sandford.
