StarzPlay is set to launch the TV adaptation of High Fidelity starring Zoë Kravitz in Latin America as well as in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the U.K.

Inspired by Nick Hornby’s novel and the Touchstone film of the same name, the series reimagines the story from the female perspective. Kravitz stars as Rob, a music fan and record store owner who is obsessed with pop culture and Top Five lists, talking straight to the camera as she chronicles past relationships. StarzPlay will premiere High Fidelity in the aforementioned markets on September 10, with new episodes rolling out weekly.

High Fidelity was developed for television by writers Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka. Kravitz serves as executive producer, alongside West and Kucserka. Midnight Radio’s Scott Rosenberg, Josh Applebaum, André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner are also executive producers, as well as Hornby, Jeffrey Reiner and Jesse Peretz. Produced for Hulu in the U.S., the series is an ABC Signature production, a part of Disney Television Studios.
