Gunpowder Notches Up More Slots Globally

Endemol Shine International has signed a new round of deals for the Kudos-produced drama Gunpowder.

The three-parter, commissioned by BBC One, has sold to Australia (BBC Worldwide), as well as Africa, South Africa, the Middle East and Benelux (BBC Worldwide). The series is also headed to Israel (DBS Satellite), New Zealand (LightBox), German-speaking Europe (RTL), Italian-speaking Europe (Discovery) and Japan (Tohokushinsha Film Corporation).

Additionally, Endemol Shine International inked home entertainment deals in the U.K. with Dazzler Entertainment, in Germany with Justbridge Entertainment and in Australia and New Zealand with Beyond Home Entertainment.

The thriller previously sold to HBO in North America, where it drew in an average of nearly 2 million viewers for each episode, and HBO Europe, which saw the series air in the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe and Spain.
