GMA Network has today launched a new digital TV channel, Heart of Asia, providing K-drama titles alongside Asianovela series.

Heart of Asia has slated the Korean series Sky Castle, which centers on four housewives living in a luxurious residential area in suburban Seoul. They all have one ambition: to get their children to Seoul National University Medical School.

There’s also the epic Korean drama Dong Yi, which follows its protagonist (Han Hyo Joo) as she surpasses her low state to become one of Korea’s successful women; Love in Trouble, starring Ji Chang-wook as Gerald Noh and Nam Ji-hyun as Monique Eun; and the Chinese fantasy series Starry Night, Starry Sea, which follows Shen Luo (Bea Hayden), an ordinary girl who moves from the busy city life to a small cottage on the island.

The roster also includes You’re My Destiny, Amaya, the 2011 remake of Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, Legacy and T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Sabado).

Viewers can tune in to the Heart of Asia channel on the GMA Affordabox and on other digital TV boxes on free-to-air broadcast.
