Gaumont Partners for Le Prince Series

Gaumont has teamed up with Stories by France TV Distribution and Dutch producers Paradise Media to develop and produce Le Prince.

Inspired by the disappearance of Louis le Prince, the inventor of the first-ever motion picture camera, the six-part mystery thriller centers on his wife. The series will be set in late 19th-century France, a few years before the invention of cinema.

Le Prince is written by Charles den Tex and Paul de Vrijer, who co-developed the BAFTA-nominated Hunter Street.
