EL SEGUNDO: The anthology drama series Full Circle has been renewed for a third season written by Jorge Zamacona (The Last Ship), with the ten new episodes set to air exclusively on Audience Network via DIRECTV and AT&T U-verse.

Season three of Full Circle will center on a sex scandal that threatens to prevent a presidential candidate from being elected, shining a light on the dark underbelly of national politics. The half-hour episodes will be set in a high-end hotel in Miami in the days leading up to the Democratic primary. The latest season is slated to air this year, with production scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this month. Audience Network is only available to DIRECTV and AT&T U-verse subscribers. AT&T acquired DIRECTV and merged the two companies in July 2015.

Full Circle is an incredibly thought-provoking series,” said Christopher Long, the senior VP of original content and production at AT&T. “The level of talent we have each season continues to be noteworthy. A seasoned and talented TV writer like Jorge Zamacona will give the show’s intense dialogue a brand-new feel this season. His writing will lure viewers into the world of conspiracy and politics, which pairs perfectly as we enter into our presidential election season.”

BAFTA Award-winning executive producer and director Nick Hamm will produce Full Circle. Zamacona joins the series as writer and executive producer. Momentum TV has served as the production company behind all three seasons of the show, and FremantleMedia International will handle global distribution.

Dougray Scott and Kim Raver are on board to co-star in the ensemble series.
