Fremantle Promotes for Global Drama

Julie Hodge has been promoted to VP of editorial for global drama at Fremantle, a newly created position.

Elevated from the role of editorial director for global drama, Hodge’s extended remit will see her work closely with Christian Vesper, president of global drama, assisting with strategy management across all territories, with a particular focus on the U.K. and Africa.

Hodge will also creatively support producers and work closely with Fremantle International and Fremantle partner Lorenzo De Maio on the development of the drama slate and supervision of future co-productions.

Vesper said: “Julie has proven herself to be an absolute asset to the global drama team over the past few years. As our focus on delivering world-class drama and film continues, I felt that Julie, with her knowledge, experience and passion, was best placed to help us on this journey. I know she’ll thrive with her newly expanded remit.”
