FOX Taps Former A&E Exec for Drama Post

Gabriel Marano has joined FOX as senior VP of drama programming and development.

Most recently, Marano was senior VP of drama programming for A&E, where he oversaw the network’s scripted series development and production. He was involved with such series as Bates Motel, Longmire, The Glades, Damien and The Returned, among others.

Marano joined A&E in 2013 as VP of drama programming and was promoted to senior VP two years later. Prior to A&E, Marano spent ten years with Fox Television Studios (now Fox 21 Television Studios), first joining the company in 2003 as an assistant before climbing the ranks to VP of scripted programming.
