BBC One and BBC iPlayer are set to launch the three-part factual drama Four Lives the first week of January.

The series will shed new light on the story of Anthony Walgate, Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth and Jack Taylor, who were murdered by Stephen Port, telling it from the point of view of their families and friends. Four Lives will air over three consecutive nights from January 3.

Written by Neil McKay and directed by David Blair, Four Lives’ cast includes Stephen Merchant, Sheridan Smith, Jaime Winstone, Samuel Barnett, Rufus Jones, Robert Emms, Daniel Ryan, Stephanie Hyam and Leanne Best. The series focuses on the fight to uncover the truth about what happened to the four young men in the face of a now widely condemned police investigation.

Four Lives is a co-production with BritBox North America, where it will premiere in the U.S. and Canada.
