New Cast Additions for The Capture Season Three

Indira Varma, Hugh Quarshie and Linus Roache will join returning cast members Paapa Essiedu and Holliday Grainger in the third season of The Capture for BBC One.

Also joining the cast are Ben Miles, Lia Williams, Ginny Holder, Ron Perlman, Nigel Lindsay, Tessa Wong, Killian Scott, Jonathan Aris, Joe Dempsie, Andrew Buchan and Amanda Drew. The Capture was created, written and executive produced by Ben Chanan.

Essiedu will be reprising his role as Isaac Turner alongside Grainger, who leads the cast as Rachel Carey, and Daisy Waterstone returns as Abigail Carey.

The Capture is directed by Anthony Philipson, Johnny Allan and Chanan and produced by Derek Ritchie, who also serves as executive producer.

For Heyday Television, executive producers are David Heyman, Rosie Alison and Sue Gibbs, Tom Coan for Universal International Studios, Rebecca Ferguson for the BBC and Chanan. The series will be distributed by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution. The series is produced by Heyday Television for BBC iPlayer and BBC One.

Season three takes place 12 months after Carey broadcast a live deepfake of a government minister to the nation, exposing the U.K. intelligence service’s clandestine video manipulation programme known as Correction.
