BBC’s The Cage Casting Update

The BBC has released new details about The Cage, a thriller set in a Liverpool casino from Tony Schumacher (The Responder) and Element Pictures.

Set for BBC iPlayer and BBC One, the cast, led by Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha, also features Barry Sloane, Geraldine James, Anton Bibby, Freya Jones, Sophie Mensah, Abby Mavers, Shaun Mason and more.

The five-part drama is directed by Al Mackay and shot in and around Liverpool and Merseyside. Global sales will be handled by Fremantle.
