eOne Lands Rights to Agatha Christie Novel

Entertainment One (eOne) is developing Agatha Christie’s They Came to Baghdad as a drama series, serving as the studio and international distributor on the project.

Carolyn Newman and Polly Williams will oversee the adaptation of the adventure novel for eOne, with James Prichard and Basi Akpabio exec producing for Agatha Christie Limited. The novel was first published in 1951.

They Came to Baghdad focuses on a young traveler named Victoria Jones, whose adventures in the Middle East become complicated when a man on the run dies in her hotel room.
