Elisa Viihde Commissions Period Spy Thriller

Elisa Viihde in Finland has commissioned Sphere of Shadows (Nyrkki), a 1950s-set spy thriller.

AJ Annila will direct the ten-part series, penned by Katri and Kirsti Manninen, which is set for a fall 2019 debut on the Finnish digital entertainment service. Teea Hyytiä and Sari Lempiäinen from Zodiak Finland will produce the series

“Sphere of Shadows is inspired by true historical events, and it introduces a new genre to the range of original series on Elisa Viihde,” said Ani Korpela, head of content for the platform. “Sphere of Shadows is a good example of the type of fascinating storytelling that we want to keep offering to our customers.”
