Invisible Heroes has been licensed to several new broadcasters worldwide, including RTBF in Belgium and ETV in Estonia, following previously announced sales to the U.S. and Spain.

Born out of a collaboration between the Finnish and Chilean broadcasters Yle and Chilevisión, respectively, the series premiered in Finland last year and also bowed in Sweden to high ratings. It tells the story of Finnish diplomat Tapani Brotherus who, against the explicit orders of his own country, saved over 2000 Chilean citizens from persecution by General Pinochet’s government following the military coup in 1973.

“We have received incredible feedback and are happy to see Invisible Heroes continuing its international trajectory as well as being recognized by festivals around the world,” says Nicola Söderlund, managing partner at Eccho Rights.
