E4 Picks Up Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist for the U.K.

E4 has acquired Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, which stars Jane Levy (Suburgatory) in the title role, for the U.K. from Lionsgate.

In the drama, Levy plays Zoey Clarke, computer coder in San Francisco, who starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs after an unusual event. Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Peter Gallagher and Mary Steenburgen also star, along with special guest star Lauren Graham.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is produced by Lionsgate and Universal Television in association with the Tannenbaum Company, Feigco Entertainment and Universal Music Group. The series is written and executive produced by Austin Winsberg alongside executive producers Paul Feig via Feigco Entertainment, Jessie Henderson, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum via The Tannenbaum Company, and Polygram’s David Blackman and Daniel Inkeles. Richard Shepard directed and executive produced the pilot. Lionsgate has worldwide rights to the title, which is being presented at MIPCOM.
