The CW Network has given full-season orders to its pair of new fall series—Batwoman and Nancy Drew.

The order brings the first seasons of the two shows to 22 episodes each. Further, with The CW securing full in-season streaming rights to all new series starting this season, every episode of Batwoman and Nancy Drew will exclusively stream on its digital platforms the day after broadcast throughout the season. This will enable viewers to catch up for free, without authentication, subscription or login via CWTV.com and The CW app.

Both Batwoman and Nancy Drew have seen significant increases in overall audience once viewership from DVR and streaming from The CW digital platforms is factored in. The former has seen its linear ratings grow 73 percent among adults 18 to 34 and 80 percent in adults 18 to 49 with L+7 viewership, while the latter is posting 94-percent gains in adults 18 to 34 and 114 percent in adults 18 to 49 in L+7 gains.

Airing on Sundays at 8 p.m., Batwoman, starring Ruby Rose in the titular role, is set three years after the mysterious disappearance of Batman, leaving Gotham and its police department overrun and outgunned by criminal gangs. Nancy Drew, starring Kennedy McMann and airing on Wednesdays at 9 p.m., follows the teenage detective who had turned her back on sleuthing as she gets pulled into a case involving a murdered socialite.
