Canada’s CBC Adds Four Dramas to Spring Schedule

CBC TV and CBC Gem are adding to their spring rosters four new drama series, including the exclusive Canadian premiere of the BBC limited series Us, starring Tom Hollander.

Season one of Victoria, starring Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) as the spirited monarch Queen Victoria, will make its Canadian network debut on March 22. The Canadian network premiere of the British detective series Miss Scarlet and the Duke, set in 1850s London, is slated for March 29.

Us premieres on April 4, while the Canadian broadcast premiere of the Australian psychological thriller The Secrets She Keeps, starring Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael, is set for April 14.
