Netflix to Premiere Breaking Bad Movie in October

Netflix has set an October 11 global launch for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

Billed as a “Netflix Television Event,” the movie centers on the character of Jesse Pinkman, played by Emmy winner Aaron Paul. In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity (shown at the end of the Breaking Bad series), Pinkman must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.

The thriller is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad. The movie is produced by Paul, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth and Diane Mercer, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
